Good morning friends! It's time for another monthly challenge and we would love for you to play along with us over at Whimsie Doodles!
As for October's challenge, our theme is Anything Goes with an optional twist of Give Thanks.
Here's what I came up with using Pie Lizzy from the People section -
Now it's your turn and we can wait to see what you create.
There will be one winner drawn at random from all eligible entries. If the winning entry has followed the 'Anything Goes' theme the prize will be THREE standard Whimsie Doodles images of their choice. However, if the winning entry has followed the twist the prize is FIVE standard Whimsie Doodles images!
We are sneaking you peeks from the October release at The Cat's Pajamas this week. October 17th is release day, so mark your calendars. Nancy, Michelle, Lynn and Wendy have already shared their peeks with you. Today it's my turn and I've got lots for you to look at. We have 4 new stamp sets (so cute) and 3 new CutUps (wonderfully versatile) to share. My first 2 cards feature the fabulously funny Fat Cat Christmas stamp set -
The next card features Reindeer Games, you are going to love the sentiments -
Here's a look at the Christmas Dreams stamp set with Holiday Window Duos CutUps peeking out from behind -
The last 2 cards feature the other 2 Cutups, Presents and Rudolph and a beautiful sentiment from Christmas Dreams -
OK, that's it, except for the fact that you have a chance to win a $10 TCP voucher by leaving a comment here or on Instagram (brendanh50). Thanks for peeking!
It's time for another CRAFT Challenge! We would love for you to join us
Our Sponsor this week is -
Prize - 1 bundle of choice
First of all, I love Melonheadz. I used pre-colored Kiddlets Monsters they provided for this card. I had a bunch of fun pulling papers brightly colored papers to use on this card. I knew I wanted to use one of my favorite dies from GoCreate as the fun base of my card and here's how it all turned out -
Grab yourself some papers and an image and create a unique shape to enter for a chance to win a Melonheadz bundle of your own. If it's inspiration you need, head on over to the CRAFT Challenge blog. I happen to know the DT has rocked this challenge with several wonderful unique shapes.
Thanks for dropping by!

Janice is our hostess this week. I think she has a brilliant challenge for us this time. She wants us to use our "leftovers" to make a creation. Knowing that October 9 is Thanksgiving in Canada, it might be a bit confusing, but I'm pretty sure she wants us to use our crafty leftovers not the foodie leftovers😄. The other way you can enter is to use a card you have previously made and not posted. Surely you've got this challenge covered.
Here is what I came up with -
Since I was privy to this challenge awhile back, I used leftovers from when I made this card. I got a bit carried away with stamping and coloring these sweet roses because I even had enough left over to do a planner page too.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you use your leftovers. To check out the makes from the Girlfriends be sure to visit the Little Red Wagon and follow their links. I hope you'll consider joining us this week!

Hi friends! I'm here with my first post as a Kennedy Grace Designs designer. What do you think of the gorgeous mood board we've been sharing with you? I love the cool, crisp weather and the beautiful show that nature puts on during this season.
Though my home is in Hawaii now, I grew up in Kansas and had to take the sunflower and the gorgeous colors as my inspiration.
I used Beautiful Blooms - Sunflower for my feature image. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with my MISTI using Smokey Grey VersaFine ink and the heat embossed it with clear powder. I used Koi watercolors to color the image and ended up fussy cutting them both. The lovely sentiment is from the set, it was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa. I stamped the sentiment on a panel with distress ink on the edges. I added a few sequins, from the Autumn Blessings mix which you may have noticed in the new release.
I'm hoping you will find some inspiration from the mood board and that you will share your creations with us over on the Kennedy Grace Designs Facebook page. Have a great week!
Hi friends! I wanted to share a card I made with this sweet little Whimsie Doodles image. She is called 'She Has Wings' and can be found in the People Digi section. She is just too cute and was such fun to color up.
I also want to remind you there are still a couple of days until the September challenge closes. You can find all of the details here on the Whimsie Doodles blog
It's the time of year when time tends to speed up even more, but I hope you'll be able to find some time to play along with us this week. If it's more inspiration you need, head on over to the Sketch Saturday blog and take a look at my wonderful teamies creations.
It's time for another As You Like It Challenge. This fortnight our challenge theme is to share you favorite. Pick your favorite, a flower or some ribbon, use it on your creation and tell us why it's your favorite.
This week our sponsor is:
Here is my tag which uses my favorite, ribbon -
I have loved ribbon for a very long time. I love the color, the texture, the fun and/or the elegance it can add to a project. I am really loving shabby ribbon right now that I have created by blasting organza with just a little hit from my heat gun. it's so fun to see how it turns out. Honestly, I love flowers too but I find them a bit more challenging to work with.
So, what do you think the AYLI girls will pick. How about joining us over on the blog to find out and then share with use which you prefer and why! Here's the link - AYLI blog.
Thanks for stopping by, let's all do something today to bring light to replace the darkness of the past few weeks.

This week, Heather is our hostess over at Little Red Wagon Challenge. She wants us to use black and white for our creations. I have to admit, I had a bit of a creative block for this challenge. Then I decided to get out my white embossing powder and this is what happened -
We would love you to join us at Little Red Wagon this week. The girlfriends will undoubtedly have terrific inspiration for you, just follow their links. Have a great week! Aloha,
A glitter paper moon and some sparkly embossing powder provided the glitz for this card. The sentiment and spider webs are from the Vintage Halloween set which just seemed perfect for this little vignette. So it's back to you! Remember, we would love to see your creations using TCP goodies, but it's not a requirement. For all the details head on over to the blog where you can all so see the other Cat Pack creations!
Today is my last post as a Frantic Stamper guest designer😞. I have had such fun creating with these wonderful stamps and dies. I'm even more impressed with the great designs and quality of their products and customer service. I have one more card featuring Sweet Holly Snowman supported by Star on a String -
Morning Crafty Friends and Welcome to Kennedy Grace Creations September Blog
We are so
happy you have stopped by and joined us for this very special event!
Our newest release of Stamp and Sequins is now live and available for purchase in the store!
Here is the card I've created for you -
For this card I did a little reverse "smooshing". I started by laying down a little distress ink and then "smooshed" water into the distress in using a small piece of acetate. I dried the watercolor paper between colors to prevent muddying of the colors. Then I added this wonderful hope filled sentiment from Inspirational Verses. The fabulous sequins are from the new Unicorn mix.
We will be giving away a prize package to one luckywinner.
All you have to do is join us for the hop and leave a comment on each project. The more you comment the more chances you have to win!! Winner will be announced on Monday.
We hope you have enjoyed this release and will hop along to see what our talented designers have made using the Stamps and Sequins from our September release.
I want to share a card featuring the darling Texting Abby from Whimsie Doodles Designs -
You can find her in the What's New section in the Whimsie Doodles store. I thought this paper was absolutely perfect for her. I'm hoping you'll be able to find some time to enter our current challenge, Let's Dress Up. For information check the challenge page here. Have a great day! Aloha, Brenda
